The bouquet suggests there's more happening here than simple best practice, but the power and varietal intensity of the palate sweeps such thoughts away. Very interesting how Hunter Valley semillon producers are now charging high prices ($60-$100) for semillons that tick both present and future boxes. I'll bet much is sold at cellar door or by membership sales.
Powerful and intense.
Enjoy at 10-13 degrees until 2030 alongside anything from grilled lobster to soft blue cheese. .

The Single Vineyard collection represents the most site-specific wines First Creek Wines produces — expressions tied to an individual block of vines, a named vineyard, and the precise combination of soil, slope, and microclimate that makes that site different from every other block in the Hunter Valley.

Each wine in the range is named for the vineyard of origin: Will's Hill Shiraz, Oakey Creek Semillon, and Creyke Shiraz are all drawn from parcels with documented histories and recognisable flavour signatures that go beyond what a regional or varietal blend can achieve.
