Enticing aroma of strawberry and white pepper. The palate is stunning with soft tannin and persistent red berry fruit. Ideal with meats cooked on the grill. 

A lightweight, harmonious, easy-drinking red brimming with joy and appeal. The strawberry fruit is pure, fragrant, and has a delicious, moreish quality, much like a light-bodied pinot. The vineyard is over a decade old, and the soils are free-draining decomposed basalt and granite. Maturation occurs in 20% new French oak puncheons, giving welcomed complexity without overshadowing the fruit.
An easy-drinking red brimming with joy and appeal
Enjoy at 10 - 12 degrees until 2030 alongside Pasta with tomato-based sauces, grilled meats, or charcuterie board with aged cheeses .

Limited Release

First Creek Wines' Limited Release collection is where we push outside the Hunter Valley's classic varietal story. These are small-batch wines made in limited quantities — often from a single vineyard block, an emerging Australian wine region, or an alternative variety that caught the winemaking team's attention during a particular season.

Recent releases have included a Tumbarumba Pinot Noir, a Hilltops Sangiovese, a Hunter Valley Fiano, and a Vermentino — varieties that are increasingly finding their footing in Australia's cooler and continental growing zones. Each release is made with the same rigour as our flagship wines, but with a spirit of exploration and experimentation that makes them genuinely exciting.
