Lively and long, a great crisp dry white with stunning fruit flavours. Bright green straw with a silver fleck. Classic varietal notes of white peach, melon & fig. Lovely delivery of jubey fruit, with generous power & length, mouth-watering acidity, and a fine mineral & saline crunch to finish.

A stunning example of Australian Vermentino, and one of the best I have tried. Fragrant lemon top notes with a hint of lime blossom. The palate is citrusy and bright, with flecks of dried mandarin peel plus barely perceptible savouriness, adding interest and depth. Pleasing texture, back-palate drive and excellent integration of the elements. Sourced from the historic Roxborough Vineyard in the Upper Hunter Valley.

Enjoy at 7 - 10 degrees until 2029 alongside Grilled sardines or fish ceviche .

Limited Release

First Creek Wines' Limited Release collection is where we push outside the Hunter Valley's classic varietal story. These are small-batch wines made in limited quantities — often from a single vineyard block, an emerging Australian wine region, or an alternative variety that caught the winemaking team's attention during a particular season.

Recent releases have included a Tumbarumba Pinot Noir, a Hilltops Sangiovese, a Hunter Valley Fiano, and a Vermentino — varieties that are increasingly finding their footing in Australia's cooler and continental growing zones. Each release is made with the same rigour as our flagship wines, but with a spirit of exploration and experimentation that makes them genuinely exciting.
