Tannat ia a grape variety originally from Uruguay is hailed as the grape with the highest polyphenols (antioxidants) of all red wines. The wine is full bodied and flavoursome with complex tannins. Hints of plum and berry on the palate with a smokey edge make it an ideal pairing to marinated and barbecue grilled meats with vegetables.
